Did you know that UCLA LAAlumni Rosa Castillo was honored with the community service award from the Hispanic Women's Council this year?
In memorium, Maria Gomez, BA '89, MA '91 passed away on Thursday August 22. She had suffered from fibromyalgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to assist her internment in Guatemala. Please contadct Mrs. Mary Lou Gutierrez, 249 south Arden, Los Angeles, CA 90004.

UCLA LAA has a limited number of applications for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) internship for June 2-August 8 1997.
