Position: Student
Research: I am currently a political science and chicana/o studies major. I am looking into graduate school of either urban planning, education or public policy. Ultimately I am intrested in helping the community. One thing that is of major concern to me is the effect that many discrimantory policies such as CCRI and Proposition 187 will have in our community.
Publications: I have conducted extensive research in Proposition 187 and the activism that took place in the high schools. I am soon going to Mexico to study abroad and look at the institutional changes that are taking place in the opposition parties to the PRI. Have taken part in many political student groups, community projects and motivational projects for high school students.
